Bowers Museum

If you are student, remember to bring your student ID, because the entrance fee will be $12. Parking fee is $6 before (too pricey)!!!

It ranks number 1 in yelp if you search museum in Orange county, but personally, I think it's not worth the money. All most you can see Chinese name everywhere inside the museum. The most interesting collection is the ceramic one from Russia (can not take picture). The other collection is quite bored. May be I set my expectation too high after visiting museum in Chicago and DC.

Half-baked Panini Rustic Rolls

We used to buy bread, and had to reheat/ bake it again every time before the meal. Recently, I just find this amazing bread from Trader Joe's: half-baked rolls. Following instruction, after preheating the oven to 425 degree, it takes only 8 minutes for you to have fresh and hot bread every morning.

Here, see how beautiful the roll is! Love it!

And this is how I use a roll for breakfast, ces't la vie!

Watch plane taking off and landing from Santa Ana airport

Watching airplanes taking off and landing at John Wayne (Santa Ana) airport is an advantage when living in/around Irvine. Just going to park around the airport, and watch planes for free. Here is one location: Executive Park, Irvine

If you order fresh tofu, they will make in front of you. All the ingredients are organic. Remember mix well when they pour the milk, otherwise the hardener will not mix well with the milk (it makes the tofu bitter)
