New limited edition coffee from Nespresso

We bought not only the coffee but also a set of matched-pattern cup and saucer for this limited edition coffee: Santander and Cauca. They are amazingly good!

The cauca is lighter, sweeter, and a little bit sourer. I prefer using Santander for a cup of cappuccino.

Urth Caffe at Santa Monica

Santa Monica is a very peaceful city, if you go there, you should try a cup of coffee at this restaurant. Parking is the big problem because you have to pay to park on street (sometime no available space), or use valet parking service from the restaurant.

Everything there is so cheap compared to other caffe shop. They also have sandwich, soup, or panini if you are too hungry. Otherwise, a cake with coffee still be the best!

This big cheese cake is $6.95

New coffee bean at Trader Joe's

This Las Nubes medium roast coffee is imported from Nicaragua, they packed it very interesting, very "green" and is the most beautiful package for coffee I've ever seen from Trader Joe's.

Just think about Vietnamese coffee, so we bought this organic sweetened condensed milk. This is the best I can find here that the ingredients are not countless: only milk and cane sugar. It be a very good match with dark roast coffee, when you want to make Vietnamese style coffee.

Because I don't have a Vietnamese style coffee filter at home now, I use Nespesso's machine with Finezzo lungo capsule. Add 1 spoon of condensed milk is enough, stir it, then enjoin!

Also, I found Trader Joe's instant coffee. Its ingredient is also "normal", not lab-test style. Love it!

New coffee from Trader Joe's

Trader Joe's has a new coffee and I think it's a must try for all coffee's fan: Blue mountain coffee.
You only need two spoon for two cup of coffee, that's enough too have a either breakfast coffee or afternoon coffee.

Enjoin the coffee and see my lovely baby roses blooming! What a happy afternoon!

Espresso in Italian restaurant

If you go to San Diego, you should go to this place for coffee and pizza: caffe Calabria -  The true Italian coffee shop ( said my Italian friend). The restaurant locates in a small street, you'd better find parking lot in other streets.

They have a corner for Napoli and its football team, even the ball has N letter!

The espresso here is awesome!

My Bicerin: steam milk with esspresso
  and espresso doppio

The best sweet they have is orange cookies.

And here the pizza oven

New coffee flavor from Nespresso

This holiday, Nespresso has released three new limited flavored coffee: coconut, macadamia nut and hazelnut. The store locates at Bloomingdale, South Coast plaza.

The man there said, they will run out of coconut coffee in next few days, so I picked two for myself, just $0.7 for each capsule
