French restaurant in Irvine

Have you ever tried French food? You should try definitely, with a simple and basic version: go to Vie de France in South Coast Plaza. You can park your car in the parking structure next to Bloomingdales, the and the restaurant is just right next to the entrance of the plaza (near Macy's men). This restaurant is extremely friendly, the food is awesome, but, you should be there earlier than your time of meal about 15 mins, there is a long line waiting in the weekend!

I were on the line haha

Some special dishes for today

The decoration is so elegant, simple but warm with yellow light

Start with bread and butter. They cut fresh bread in a corner of restaurant. You can eat as much as you can, however, you should keep more space for main dish.

A simple and cheap drink: a citron cooler. This is in the photo

And this is a real one:

It's great, not so sweat, just natural taste of citron

Here's the salad $8.99. My husband does't like all the ingredient of this dish, if they are separated. But the combination is just: AMAZING!

The flavor I can't make at home: pasta with shrimp and spinach. It has the sour from tomato and sweetness from shrimp. With a slice of garlic bread, it turns out to be a unforgettable dish of this restaurant. I ate this pasta twice already.

This is the chicken and mashed potato. Great! The meats is juicy, tender, and sweet!

You can go there in the weekday, the quality is the same as it is in the weekend, but at least you don't have to wait. When we left (around 2 pm), the line was still long and long...
